Overview

Worldly Wisdom ("the App") is a bilingual social skills practice app. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we use it.

Data We Collect

If you sign in:

• Email address — used to identify your account and enable cross-device purchase restoration.
• Display name — shown in your profile within the app.
• User ID — a unique identifier assigned by Firebase Authentication.
• Purchase status — whether you have unlocked full access, stored in Firebase Firestore to sync across devices.

If you do not sign in:

• We collect no personal data. All progress is stored locally on your device using UserDefaults.

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, health data, or browsing history.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) — for sign-in functionality. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Firebase Firestore (Google LLC) — for storing purchase status. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Google Sign-In (Google LLC) — for Google account authentication. Google Privacy Policy
• Apple StoreKit (Apple Inc.) — for in-app purchases. Handled entirely by Apple.

Data Storage & Security

Account data is stored in Google Firebase servers. Local progress data is stored on-device using iOS UserDefaults. We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS for all network communication and Firebase Security Rules to restrict data access to the authenticated user only.

Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile tab in the app. When you delete your account:

• Your Firestore data is permanently deleted.
• Your Firebase Authentication account is deleted.
• Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the app.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above.
